Who we're a good fit for
Dentistry for people who want the whole picture
Atlas suits patients who want to understand their oral health and plan for it, rather than treat it one problem at a time.
You want a long-term dentist
Someone who knows your history and can plan years ahead, not just treat what hurts today.
You want to understand your own mouth
A complete picture of your teeth, gums, and bite — explained in language that makes sense.
You have more than one thing going on
Several needs at once deserve an order of priority, not a list of procedures handed over at the desk.
You care how it looks, not only how it works
Health, function, comfort, and appearance are considered together rather than traded off quietly.
Why Atlas
What the visit actually feels like
You see what we see
Intraoral photographs and digital scans go up on the screen. Findings are easier to trust when you are looking at them too.
Dr. Lee explains what he finds
What is urgent, what is worth watching, and what is genuinely optional — said plainly, and in that order.
Treatment is prioritized, not bundled
A clear sequence, so you can decide what to do now and what can reasonably wait.
Time to ask questions
New-patient visits are scheduled for about an hour and a half, so the conversation is not the part that gets cut short.
Your first visit
About an hour and a half, and you leave knowing where you stand
- 01
We talk first
Your concerns, your goals, and anything that has bothered you about past dental care.
- 02
Examination and records
A comprehensive examination with the digital X-rays your situation calls for, intraoral photographs, and a digital scan.
- 03
Teeth, gums, and bite
Periodontal measurements, an oral cancer screening, and an evaluation of how your teeth fit together.
- 04
We review it together
Your images on screen, and what they show, before anything is recommended.
- 05
Priorities and options
A personalized plan with a clear order — what matters most, what can wait, and what each option involves.
- 06
Cleaning
After evaluating your gum health, we'll recommend the type of cleaning that is appropriate for you. A cleaning may be completed during the same visit when clinically appropriate and scheduling allows.

Meet your dentist
Dr. Christopher Lee, DDS
A Bay Area native, Dr. Lee earned his bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
His approach is thoughtful, conservative, and highly personalized. Rather than focusing only on individual teeth, Dr. Lee considers how a patient's oral health, bite, smile, comfort, and long-term goals work together.

We can help verify your benefits
